As a Service Delivery Consultant – Connectivity, you are a true team player that will be delivering high quality IT solutions and information based on Business requirements. You will be responsible for business continuity and qualitative and timely delivery of new or changed solutions and project results. You will maintain and evolve our Connectivity related IT services. You are responsible for ensuring a highly available and stable Infrastructure by performing monitoring, incident resolution, root cause analysis and deploying changes.
Your function
Role is for an Allround Connectivity Engineer with a focus on Cloud-managed Services.
- Main focus on incident management
- Performs service improvement activities to ensure stability and agility
- Performs regular maintenance and changes on for example firewalls
- Ensures that all deliverables comply with the boundaries set by enterprise architecture and by security and
compliance. - Ensures applicable audit actions are managed and fulfilled in a timely manner
- Responsible for vulnerabilities / out-of-support remediation process and align application owners
- Ensures the execution of changes in line with change requests or because of technical necessity
- Executes application deployment activities in line with defined process
- Ensures adequate monitoring is in place
- Maintains systems documentation
- Understands the contractual technical specifications and SLA’s with 3rd party vendors providing or support
services

Your profile / Essentials
Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years’ experience working with:
- Connectivity – VPN’s, MPLS, Internet, SD-WAN, Traffic Optimization
- LAN – Cisco Meraki, Cisco Catalyst,
- Wireless LAN – Cisco Meraki, Cisco AirOS
- Datacentre LAN – Cisco Nexus 7700, Cisco Nexus 2K, F5 BigIP
- Security – Check Point firewall/IPS, McAfee Web Gateway
- Protocols/Techniques – SNMP, VRRP, VLAN, IPv4, VPC, VDC, VRF
- Change management – BMC RemedyForce
Next to that it is a plus to have generic knowledge of
- Storage – NetApp, EMC
- Virtualization – VMWare-ESXi, Hyper-V
- UC – Cisco WebEx, Skype for Business
- IT Infra Architecture
- And other (customer facing) applications that are active on the connectivity platform
